The primary function of the Business Development Department is to expand the offerings to our insured physicians to include insurance evaluation and advisory services. We now have the capabilities and personnel to provide physicians with a single, reliable, trusted and convenient source for property and casualty insurance, employee benefits and asset protection. PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE

PLICO is the largest writer of medical professional liability insurance in Oklahoma. We have written professional liability insurance for Oklahoma physicians longer than all other carriers combined.

We pride our self in providing the best service in the industry with a turn around rate on applications that is much better than the industry average. RISK MANAGEMENT SERVICES

The Risk Management Department at PLICO has grown steadily since it was developed in 2005, achieving impressive milestones in 2007. We now have two offices - our corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City and our Tulsa office (opened in late 2006). Both are staying busy providing fast service to area physicians.

CLAIMS SERVICES

PLICO has an outstanding trial record. This outstanding record is the result of aggressive and proactive claims handling. Supporting our claims staff is a group of highly motivated, defense minded attorneys who provide legal representation to our physicians. The claim staff is vigilant regarding ongoing communication and coordination between the claim department and our experienced panel of eight law firms. This allows for greater accountability and better overall results.
